You are to create a newsletter about Online Safety. Your newsletter should be directed at either Parents, Students or both.

You need to have 2 - 4 articles about being safe while online. You should also include pictures and word art, as needed. You may choose to have 2 or 3 columns, or a combination of both.

A Parent’s Guide to Online Safety 

You are going to create a Digital Story. Your story can be about anything you want. We will look at some examples and do some brainstorming in class to give you ideas for your story.

Using Windows Movie Maker you will use at least six (6) pictures/graphics/drawings to digitize your story. You can find pictures online or bring in pictures from home. All pictures must already be in digital format - we will not be able to scan any pictures.

After brainstorming your topic, you will use the Storyboard to plan your story. You not be able to record your voice, but you will be able to add music. All pictures, captions and music must be obtained and planned before starting your movie. Planning sheets must be approved by me before you can start.
